Mercedes W221 Apple Carplay Android Auto extends the functionality of your original Mercedes navigation system by allowing you to use the most popular apps such as Waze, Google maps, Sygic navigation, Apple Maps, Spotify, Apple Music, Whats app, Deezer, Podcasts, Sound Cloud or Mixcloud. The accessory connects wirelessly to an iOS or Android smartphone, allowing you to use the Apple Carplay or Android Auto environments for modern cars.

Mercedes Carplay uses the original monitor, so the original Mercedes look is maintained. The device’s menu is controlled using the original system’s control wheel and steering wheel switches, maintaining the original Mercedes driving experience. This W221 Carplay module is fully integrated with the original Mercedes parking systems – the device will automatically switch to the rear camera or parking sensors when reversing and switch off when shifting. The Mercedes Carplay wiring harness is connected to the original connectors, so there is no need to cut and solder any connections. The device is fully ready to use and requires no additional programming.

NTG 3.0 doesn’t have SD card slot (see picture)

NTG 3.5 have SD card slot (see picture)

Wireless Android Auto works with Android phones running Android 11 and above.

Older Android models only work with a USB cable connection! Huawei phones are not supported or only work with a cable connection.
