The module has the functionality to use your car’s original Bluetooth channel, this way maintaining good sound quality compared to the AUX audio channel. It is also possible to use your car’s original Bluetooth phone function via Apple Carplay / Android Auto.

This Skoda Apple CarPlay Android Auto product is an accessory that turns your original MIB1/MIB2 multimedia display into a brand new Apple CarPlay and Android Auto system. This integration works independently of your existing system, but uses all the original controls: touch screen, steering wheel buttons, voice control. Pairing with a mobile device once is all it takes to connect every time the car is started. Once connected, Apple CarPlay or Android Auto is activated (depending on your phone’s operating system – iOS or Android).

This kit is compatible with the vehicles fitted with the MIB1 / MIB2 Volkswagen Infotainment or similar system, as shown in the picture below.
