This additional Touareg Carplay equipment will allow to use Wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto functions on the car’s original display.

The module has the functionality to use your car’s original Bluetooth channel, this way maintaining good sound quality compared to the AUX audio channel. It is also possible to use your car’s original Bluetooth phone function via Apple Carplay / Android Auto.

The device menu is controlled using the original system controls such as the dial, touch screen or knobs. The Apple Carplay Android Auto add-on for RNS850, RCD550 system is fully integrated with original parking systems, automatically switching to the rear camera or parking sensors when reversing, and turns off automatic. The Apple Carplay Android Auto Adapter is fully ready to use and requires no additional programming.
