Switch to Android or original system freely (Hold Menu Button on iDrive controller for 3 seconds)
Using the BMW Android 13 head unit screen is easy, for using apps, you will need to share internet to display and there is two ways you can do that. (You can use screen without internet to)
1. Insert SIM card for 4G internet.
2. Share your mobile data for WiFi connection.
Once set up, you can use your car’s iDrive knob, touchscreen display, steering wheel buttons or voice commands via Siri / Google Assistant for controls.
IMPORTANT:
Touchscreen will only control Android menu. Original BMW menu will remain controlled with iDrive knob.
